My name is Jessica Pronk, I am a professional Freelance Makeup Artist with over 10 years experience, having made up all skin tones and races. I studied Makeup at The Makeup Studio and graduated top of my class in 2012.

I worked at MAC Cosmetics, Sandton City, the highest earning MAC store in South Africa! Went through many MAC certifications  and  passed them all.  I then decided to travel overseas and did so for about two years, visiting Thailand & Malaysia. Whilst over there, I wasn't able to do a ton of applications due to the fact that the small town I lived in, didn't really have a market for Makeup! I missed beating faces beautiful so much and decided to make a YouTube channel to stay relevant and to ensure that I was feeding my passion for Makeup.

Upon returning to SA, I then established my own freelance business in Johannesburg, @Makeup By Jessica, which did really well and I was blessed to expand my client base in my home town.  Then another once in a life time  opportunity to travel and work overseas came up and I jumped at the chance. My husband, myself and our 2 year old at the time lived and worked on a luxury 7* resort in the Maldives, Soneva Fushi .  Again not a strong market for Makeup,so I resumed my YouTube channel!  I then returned to SA in November and made a drastic decision to leave the big city life and relocate down to the scenic Garden Route and have been based in Oudtshoorn ever since. I have a studio in  Oudtshoorn but have done countless weddings all over the Garden Route.  I have also acquired my Microblading technician certification and now transform brows aswell.  I have had many highlights and worked with amazing industry giants in the  Western Cape. My work was featured in the YOU magazine, as I glammes our very own Haidee Muller for her Wedding day,. I have also made an appearance on  our local station to teach ladies how to smoke their eyes! I am so blessed that I have build up a loyal, satisfied client base!
